This may be old news but i really wanted to talk about this collaboration after I’ve checked out the toy itself!

First of all, I am not big fans of Daft Punk, but the GOLD & SILVER helmet looks really cool with perfect finishing. The Daft Punk logo is HUGE and very attractive! Official logo of Silly Thing & Daft Life Ltd printed on the back of left leg made it even more valuable as a collectible even though the price is not cheap ($12,800 hkd set).

對不起, 這絕對不是一個新的消息, 不過經觀賞過實物後, 我決定要和大家分享一下. 首先我不是Daft Punk 的絕對支持者, 不過他們的一金一銀的頭盔, 完美的上色和零瑕疵, 很吸引人的大大個的Daft Punk 圖案, 再加上左腳後方都印有Silly Thing & Daft Life Ltd.這兩個官方許可的圖案, 收藏價值大增, 雖然價錢不菲盛惠12800港元一套.

My friend Melody Ehsani From L.A just shown me the accessories from her label’s Fall 2009 Look Book. Melody always did very cool designs for accessories which include earrings, rings & necklaces. They came in die cut shape, exaggerated sizes and in GOLD theme. Their concept are elegant but yet with a touch of Bad Girls style. Superstars like Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Mariah Carey are fans of Melody Ehsani too!

EDGE – Perspectives on Drug Free Culture is a documentary attempting to present a history of  a youth movement that originated in the early 1980′s,  connected through the US Punk and Hardcore music scenes with bands like Youth of Today and Earth Crisis, that has become a worldwide phenomenon.

Giving witness to their perception of the movement, and how their life and career is affected by it, are Ian MacKaye (Minor Threat, Fugazi), Ray Cappo (Youth of Today, Shelter) and Karl Buechner (Earth Crisis, Freya)

Furthermore, EDGE explores the lives of 10 individuals and see how their decision to live ‘poison free’ has changed the world for them.

EDGE is produced by Michael Kirchner and Marc Pierschel and will premier in NYC on October 3rd 2009 . News of a DVD release will soon follow.

After 14 long years of hiatus, Seattle’s Alice in Chain is back with their 4th Studio album, featuring their new vocalist William DuVall, who replaced the late Layne Staley who passed away in 2002.

The distinctive grinding sound of Alice in Chain saw them rose to international fame as one of the most successful music acts of the 1990s, as part of the grunge movement with bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.

Work started with “Black Gives Way to Blue” since 2006 right after their reunion tour with William DuVall as their lead vocalist and  marks the first Alice in Chains album released on Virgin Records. It is is due for release on September 29, 2009.
