Punk used to be the spirit of D.I.Y. A rebellion manifested into a look that defy the mainstream and a spit in the face of the conventional. Through the years it had creep it’s way into fashion, from street style to high style, no one can ignore the anti-establishment angst that the punk look offer.
Thomas Engel Hart Spring/Summer 2010, titled L.A Punx, continues that tradition and present us with high end tailoring of what was once a D.I.Y look that conquer every corner of the world.

姑勿論你是否喜歡 PUNK的文化，也許你也不喜歡 PUNK 的裝扮，但是 PUNK 的衣著由街頭文化時裝漸漸進佔 HI END 時裝界卻是事實。
雖然 PUNK 的主義建基於反政府反財團等，但是在此我們不談及這個思想。PUNK 和 D.I.Y. 永遠都是互相連系著的，與此同時於時裝設計世界裡也是和 D.I.Y. 不能分開的，基於有了這個相同的特質，加上音樂、文化上的推廣， Hi End 時裝界也有不少設計師以 PUNK 作為題材，其中一位就是 Thomas Engel Hart.
Thomas 於今季2010的春夏目錄內，以 L.A Punx 作為標題，以 Hi End 的剪裁手法配合 D.I.Y. 概念，把正宗的 PUNK 衣著完整地表露出來，有興趣的朋友可以按此去看整個目錄。
