Valentine Gifts from Nike, adidas & Puma

一年一度的情人節快將來到，各位男士都應該在努力搜購禮物給女士們吧，而 Nike, adidas 和 Puma 這三大品牌每年均會推出情人節的產品給各位作為禮物之選。
Nike 推出了兩款女裝的鞋款，分別是 Nike AF1 和 Dunk Hi，鞋上的可愛繡花極仔細，相信沒有那位女士不愛吧。
Puma 也推出了兩款鞋，分別是 Puma Suede 和 Puma First Round，特別之處除了用上紅色外，鞋帶洞最頂的改為心型扣，心心相扣的意思相當應景。
而 adidas 選擇了推出了兩款 message tee，分別是 He is my boy 和 She is my girl，送給伴侶時還一起穿著應該會更感甜蜜吧。

Was popping into Doomed To Be Stoned In A Sludge Swamp Blog for the usual music goodness when I run upon TOTR, a Russia 70s Rock influenced band. Looking at the influences (read Deep purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jimmy Hendrix, Pink Floyd to Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers just to name a few) one can’t help wonder is this another tribute band but once you hit the play button on their MySpace page you can’t help but get drawn into their goodness.

Thierry Mugler – Anatomy of Change featuring Rick “Rico” Genest

When Rick “Rico” Genest first appeared on the scene with his entire head and torso tattooed to resemble a living “zombie”, he quickly joined the rank of legendary “Cat Man” Dennis Avner and “Lizard Man” Erik Sprague as living walking tattoo art.
Well it seem like the hype machine finally caught up big time as he is the featured star of famous stylist Nicola Formichetti’s new fall men’s collection for Thierry Mugler. The collection is titled Anatomy of Change, and who are more suited to be at it’s core then Rick Genest ?
The Octopus Chair by Maximo Riera

The Octopus Chair, the first in a much bigger project entitled The Animal Chairs which sought to merge animal, product design and human into a single entity, is the splendorous work of artist/sculptor Maximo Riera from Spain.
Using modern days technologies such as CNC Milling machine and computer 3D modeling software, the movements and liveliness of the animal featured are able to be reproduced with high detailed forms and textures.
“This collection is homage to these animals and the whole animal kingdom which inhabits our planet, as an attempt to reflect and capture the beauty of nature in each living thing. ” – Maximo Riera
Future animals to be featured in this collection including mammals, insects to reptiles include Rhinoceros, Lion, Beetle, Whale, Walrus and more.

Slayer 25th Anniversary Guitar

In October 7 1986, Rick Rubin collaborated with thrash metal legends Slayer to produce their third album and although the band have been established in the metal foray alongside the likes of Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax, Reign In Blood became a milestone for metal music in years to come
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Slayer masterpiece, guitar company ESP (who has guitarist Jeff Hannemann and bassist Tom Araya in their artiste stable) has released a limited edition guitar (only 250 pieces available worldwide) that features the artwork of Reign In Blood adorning the guitar body, pentagram shaped inlays with the word Slayer near the 12th fret, a specially designed headstock with the LTD logo emblazoned on it and a string through body design just to name a few. For an album that is being played in its entirety for a couple of their concerts and ranked as the bands’ favourite release of all time, Reign In Blood has been immortalised in the most fitting of manners

I literally knocked myself off the chair when I saw this. Being a big fan of Black & Grey tattoo work, this epic 3 volumes work come close to being a bible for the fans and initialed by covering the origin of the Black & Grey genre and the diversity of shading and shadowing by dividing the genre into 3 volumes: “Traditional Black & Grey,” “Dark/Horror” and “Realism.”
