To talk about the greatness and genius works of Yohji Yamamoto will probably take a few of these pages. Forever the mysterious master craft man, Yohji Yamamoto has always let his work speak for themselves, and through them the world interpret his visions and ideas. Theo Stanley’s documentary “Yohji Yamamoto: This Is My Dream” give us a rare insight into the world of Yohji Yamamoto as he is invited to shadowed the enigma for several months as he prepared his Y-3 Spring/Summer 2010 show. The documentary will be released in Spring 2011 so at the meantime, you can head on to THIS-IS-MY-DREAM to check out the trailer.

Stussy sends prayers and condolences to the people of Japan and the Japanese American community following the recent tragedy. 日本超人氣藝術巨星「明和電機」於本年4月26日，香港STARHALL隆重登場!
由新媒體藝術組織Input/Output (I/O) 及Untitled Entertainment合辦VISUAL MUSIC 2011，帶來日本超人氣藝術團體「明和電機」(MAYWA DENKI)， 將於四月二十六日(週二) 晚上八時正於香港九龍灣國際展貿中心 匯星綜合表演館演出。2006年「明和電機」曾於中環大會堂舉行音樂會，門票一掃而空，其周邊商品更被搶購一空，造成本地明和熱!

Legendary Japanese group, Maywa Denki is to perform their latest, “The Voice Mechanics” at Star Hall Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre on April 26th, 2011.
The concert is co-presented by New Media Arts unit, Input/Output and entertainment company, Untitled Entertainments. In 2006, the group’s performance in Hong Kong City Hall was a sold out together with their merchandise causing a rave in the local art scene.

Best known for their cover of Rasputin by Boney M and their warrior clad outfits, frontman Mathias ‘Warlord’ Nygård and his sextet have gone leaps and bounds since their debut and like the Finnish god of war himself (where they got the name Turisas from), Stand Up And Fight lives up to its name with lush orchestral arrangements complementing every single track and contrary to belief, the backing instruments does not serves as a contrast to the aggressive metal chords. Instead, it beefs up the firepower by pulling the strings in bringing the songs to life and dont be surprised if non-metal fans might like Stand Up And Fight as film score enthusiasts will find tracks such as Venetoi! – Prasinoi! a gem whereas the opener The March Of The Varangian Guard lays down the law with the song Stand Up And Fight delivering the rallying call that could bring the fallen back to life. The minor line up changes has not compromised the quality of Turisas and the addition of accordion player Netta Skog has stabilised the progress of the band. Best played with the volume turned up to 11, axes sharpened and eyes set for glory, Stand Up And Fight is not all about the usual vocal growls and dual guitar shreds but instead, a masterpiece created for those who love their headbanging and class in equal parts
