繼美國紐約店而推出的限定 Tee 使用了骷髏頭後,RMC 再以骷髏推出了另一款 Tee,但今回就使用了植毛技術,令骷髏變得有立體感,而且一共有5色組合,全都已於 Seleven Gallery 和 Lane Crawford 有售。更多的圖片可於 Seleven Gallery 網站看到。

After the release for Seleven Gallery New York Limited Tee with Skull, RMC released another Skull tee with Flocking on it, that made the skull a bit like 3D. There are 5 color combos and all of them available in Seleven Gallery and Lane Crawford. More pics in Seleven Gallery Web.

Daniel Lioneye – Vol II

After the surprising success that was Vol I, a stoner rock propelled album that has seen Daniel Lioneye playing in several festivals and the song The King Of Rock n Roll being used as the official theme song for Viva La Bam, Linde Lindström is back with a new album which is simply titled Vol II. While not busy executing exquisite guitar riffs for renowned Finnish band HIM, the dreadlocked axman takes centerstage to provide the voice of the band in the form of his alter ego Lily Lazer and like Vol I, the long awaited chapter does not lack in pulling out the stops

In place of Rakohammas and Bad Mige Amour (Ville Valo on drums and Mige on bass respectively) comes Burton (HIM) on keyboards and Bolton (from Finnish black metal band Enochian Crescent) taking up drum duty as black metal forms the nucleus of the new album. Kicking off with the trance inducing Euroshaman, it is definitely nothing like the usual fare of black metal as Daniel Lioneye discreetly retains the stoner element, albeit with psychadelic themes and merging with the brutal intensity of black metal growls and eerie effects employed by Burton yet the mayhem does not end there. The infernal transcendental meditation of Flatlined is set to authentic raw brutality set to headbang into the night with The Mentat adds gallons of fuel to the bonfire of ritualistic dimensions. Vol II does have its sentimental moments as I Have Never Wanted To Be Number One provides a melancholic respite from the festivities and a testament as to why Daniel Lioneye has been hugely lauded in metal music instead of being tagged as a HIM side project. In its own footing, Daniel Lioneye has been able to amass a huge following and with their simplistic mentality towards music, it has allowed the creative juices to take control and as a result producing an absolute gem. OBSCURA,相信這個名字最近在各位潮流時裝愛好者都會經常看到,這本由 SILLY THING、《Milk》雜誌、Think-Silly Web Magazine創辦人 – TK 最新創立的書刊,有別於以往的風格,不再集中於潮流時裝上,更以潮流時裝裡引伸出更多生活化的東西,再演變成為一篇篇有趣的文章和專題,而找來了不同地方的人來寫作,也能令我們更易感受到不同地方的文化,也能看到那位作者的另一面,甚至是各位從沒意想到的東西。

由於書本的發行至世界各地,當中也以中英文對照寫作,在香港的媒體行業裡也是少見的。而第一期的書更附送了 SILLY THING 特製的 TOTE BAG,可惜的是第一期已在極短時間內售罄,大家也只能夠希望第二期的推出吧。

adidas HK 聯同了 Microsoft 找來了 Dorothy Tang 共同設計了7 鞋款給 Window 7,也擺設在 adidas Originals Concept Store給大家觀賞,更可以參加抽獎得到其中一款鞋。另外我們也在展覽內訪問了 Dorothy,除了這個計劃外也關於她個人的。

REX Watch in Hong Kong

於台灣建立的手錶品牌 Rex,一直主力於比較成熟高貴的錶款,更成功在台灣打響名堂。經過默默耕耘把根基打穩之後,更開始設計出更多時尚簡約的款式,除了適合成熟的人士之外,也漸漸地進佔較年青的市場。最近 Rex 就推出了名為 Spherical 的系列,採用了日本機芯制成,以簡約作為基本,在時間標誌上配襯不同的耀目顏色為主,錶面設計更簡單至連數字也沒有,而卻花心思在秒針的顏色和加入 Rex 的圖案上去,雖然簡單卻是永不會過時的設計。除此之外,配套上也是很細心的,除了原來的尼龍錶帶外,也附送一條膠錶帶,而且在盒裡還有一套較短的尼龍帶,以方便女生因尼龍帶太長而替換,還有不少得的工具和保証書,單是配套就能追上(甚至更好)其他品牌的。

而最近Rex 更俏俏地登陸到香港,引入的就是位於尖沙咀的 REACH 店。而據知極彩色的款式已被搶購一空,不過其他的依然是很吸引的,售會為 $680港幣。

adFunture new toy – skateboard preview

adFunture 將會於9月中的紐約動漫展中展示出新一季的玩具,當中包括由設計師 Reactor88, Motorbot和Phu! 所設計的 Yoka 系列,除此之外,Eddi 更在其個人網誌展出另一個很趣的玩具 – adFunture Skateboard,滑板上更有一雙球鞋,整個設計都很中國風,特別是鞋側的雲更是像筋斗雲的。
