As one of the first person to bring hip hop to Tokyo and the most famous taste maker in the world, Hiroshi Fujiwara has always been the subject of many different interviews by different media and publications over the years. The latest one, conducted by Interview Magazine with the help of fellow close ally and Nike’s Energy Account Manager Fraser Cooke, reveals a bit more unknown facts behind one of the most influential person within street culture.

After being put in hiatus status for the past 5 years, Nike has finally resurrected the legendary HTM line for the Nike Sportwear collection this spring/summer.
HTM2 stands for ‘H’iroshi Fujiwara (founder of Fragment Design, Godfather of Streetwear), ‘T’inker Hatfield (Nike Special Projects Director), ‘M’ark Parker (Nike CEO) and new addition to the team, ‘M’ark Smith (Global Creative Director of Jordan Brand).
由 Nike CEO Mark Parker，Nike首席設計師 Tinker Hatfield 和潮流教父、Fragment Design創立人 Hiroshi Fujiwara 三位的英文名字首個字母所組成的 HTM 系列，於早年曾推出一系列的鞋款，取得空前成功，炒賣能力一流直至今天還是各位搜購的鞋款之一。而5年後的今年，他們三位再一次把這個於 Nike 內極其傳奇的系列再次重新推出，並於今個春夏季正式推出！！
Debuted in 1994 and designed by Tory Orzeck from the Nike Advanced Project Engineering (APE) Group, the Air Footscape has achieved cult status over the years as the first Nike sneaker to be designed based on the anatomy of the human foot, as well as a side-lacing system which back in those days was a major head-turner. It was sent into oblivion over the years due to the dominance of the Air Max series in the mid-90’s but thanks to Hiroshi Fujiwara, the Air Footscape came back from the dead in 2006 and found a new lease in life after merging itself with the Air Woven technology and transformed into the Air Footscape Woven. Due to the commercial success of the Air Footscape Woven, HF then proposed a release of 4 colourways under the Tier Zero branch in 2009 which sold out worldwide instantly and proved to Nike that eager fans would snap up any colourway of the Footscapes they release. This is where the Air Footscape Motion comes in.
The Air Footscape Motion could be seen as a brand new shoe altogether. Featuring the latest in Nike technology, the shoes utilizes the newly-introduced Torch technology and coupled it with the Flywire technology on the upper to increase breathability, minimise weight and material while giving enough strength and support in the critical areas. The outsole now features the FREE technology which lets your feet walk in the most natural posture as possible. Last but not least, it features the fragmentdesign logo on the tongue and on the heel.
The shoe also comes in a electric blue colourway and is an Asia-exclusive release, with the release date penned sometime in January.

The Tennis Classic model has been introduced back in 2008 under the Nike Sportwear line and it is well known Hiroshi Fujiwara is a big advocate of the model, as seen by the number of times he used it as a canvas for some of his recent collaboration efforts. Nike and HF has teamed up to release a special Asia only colourway of the model which is stated to release this month. Featuring pearl-white leather with black lining, gold heel tab and tongue patch, Zoom Air insoles to provide support and comfort and embossed ‘fragmentdesign’ logo on the heel, these are sure to be a massive sell-out, like all other HF collaboration products.
